The IWCB is organized by the Pink Boots Society, a women’s organization geared towards the support of women in beer. Every year a beer is chosen to be brewed by female brewers in hundreds of breweries across the globe. This year is Gose a top fermented German style beer made with 50% wheat and boasts a tasteful sea salt character. However we are adding a twist so keep an eye out for this brew; slated for release in late April.

Promoting women in beer is Pink Boots mission. Establishing this support in the Vancouver beer community has been an important initiative for all women brewers throughout the city. Bringing together the entire female beer community is our way of celebrating our strengths, accomplishments and continued successes in the industry we love.
