Job Description 
  • Utilize skills to craft creative recipes and produce the best, most exciting beers possible
  • Select and maintain quality ingredients
  • Maintains all equipment to “like new” standards 
  • Create lasting relationships with vendors and customers 
  • Initial and ongoing training of all management and service staff 
  • Cultivate a positive work environment for all staff 
  • Consistently strive to produce new innovative beverage items to fit concept 
  • Takes lead role in developing concept with regards to training material 
  • Continually train, develop and motivate quality employees 
  • Ensure high quality of beverage presentation/preparation 
  • Consistently increase profitability 
  • Accurate reporting of all costs 
  • Meet or exceed all budgets 
  • Ensures all accounts are up to date with no “past due” bills 
  • Conduct profit analysis where needed 
  • Write schedules within budget 
  • Monthly P&L review with ownership group
  • Passion for beer 
  • Handles pressure well in fast-paced environment 
  • Creativity and ability to develop quality recipes 
  • Extensive experience in breweries 
  • Has effective communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Has the ability to problem solve effectively 
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to lead, train, develop and motivate others 
  • Exceptionally high standards on product quality and service

 Responsibilities –People  
  • Recruits / Hires / Leads and Measures all brewing staff 
  • Formally reviews brewing staff  
  • Daily overlap with brewing team 
  • Overall morale and culture of brewery staff 
  • Training of new and current brewery staff 
  • Overall cleanliness and presentation of staff 
  • Maintenance and organization of brewing and storage areas 
 Responsibilities – Sales 
  • Responsible for effective implementation for all menu’s and features including meetings and tests for all floor personnel              
  • Actively participates in key volume periods to guarantee quality and timing 
  • Pro actively educates all staff to increase sales 
  • Works with all staff to increase product knowledge levels 
  • Builds sales culture in all staff 
  • Create Profitable weekly schedules 
  • Maintains cost of goods to budget or below 
  • Maintains labor costs to budget or below 
  • Maintains repair & maintenance budget in cost effective manner 
  • Attends management meetings with completed action plans 
  • Reviews action plans with key personnel weekly 
  • Reviews health and safety standards 
  • Ensures HACCP to standard 
  • Ensures brewery + restaurant cleanliness standards are met 
Schedule & Salary Expectations 
  • Fulltime Hours / week 
  • Weekend work is expected 
  • Annual Salary + benefits + meal program + ownership potential
