Granville Island Gose With Peach Review Granville Island Brewing – Gose With Peach Review

From Granville Island Brewing’s Small Batch series comes a Gose brewed with peach juice. This beer comes in at 5% alcohol and 15 IBUs while pouring a colour of hazy gold and erupts with a fist-full of head. Perhaps a touch of refermentation is occuring given the eruption of head. Smelling this beer it has a subtle peach character along side a wheat, melon and briny character. Tasting the beer peach comes out in greater strength but leaves some room for imagination. The Peach, as all peach is, gives a mellow fruit character that leads into a subtle salty-sour taste. The sides of the cheeks pinch with the acidic bite. This beer is light and easy drinking with a refreshing peach sourness. Nothing is truly remarkable here but it has a nice summer flavour to it.
