Owners Bob Baxter and Alan Hansen established Yukon Brewing in 1997 Yukon Brewing has received multiple awards over the years

WHITEHORSE, YUKON (September 8, 2017) – Yukon Brewing will celebrate their first 20 years of production in the Yukon with a public event at the brewery on October 7, 2017. To commemorate the occasion, guests are invited to join staff for prizes, food, special brews and cocktails. In addition, a special edition 20th anniversary Wildberry Brandy will be available for purchase.

“We are proud of the quality and success of our beers and our Two Brewers whisky that we released in 2016,” said Yukon Brewing President Bob Baxter. “But we are most proud of the fact that this is a Yukon company and part of the community. Yukoners have supported us every step of the way by first helping grow our brewery and now with our expansion into single malts. We want to celebrate our 20th anniversary with them and thank them for their support over the years.”

The special edition Wildberry Brandy has been produced specifically for this celebration and only 800 bottles will be available. There will be a limit of 2 per customer and will include a commemorative gift with purchase.

“The new brandy will give everyone a new taste to explore,” co-founder Alan Hansen added. “Over the years we’ve created beers and spirits that capture unique Yukon flavours. Creating new experiences drives what we do to create new beers and guided our vision that each release of our Two Brewers whisky would be unique. We hope our guests will enjoy our new creation as much as we do.”

The event will have a “Roaring 20’s” theme. Flappers and dapper gentlemen are encouraged to attend.
