Red Collar Brewing Share the Rye'd Review Red Collar Brewing Co. – Share the Rye’d Rye & Ginger Ale Review

Red Collar Brewing has teamed up with local freeride mountain biking aficionado Graham Agassiz to brew a limited release beer called the Share the Rye’d. This Rye And Ginger Ale pours from the bomber bottle a colour of light-amber and has a mellow haze to the colour. Topped with one finger of head the beer has a strong aroma of ginger. A rye spice and caramel sweetness also come through on the nose but play second fiddle to the main ginger show. The flavour too is rich on the Ginger side but does have a more balanced flavour than the nose. The rye spice comes through with some prominence along side a smooth body, light sweetness and subtle hop bitter finish. The hop finish is balanced with the lingering ginger spice that lingers behind. This is an enjoyable ginger-infused beer that lets the flavour shine without being over the top.
