Earlier this year Hearthstone Brewery quietly brought out their golden sour but with summer fast approaching it’s time to crack open a can.  The beer pours a clear golden colour with two fingers of off-white head that leaves no lacing behind in the glass.   The aroma from the Tiny Little Tart is prominently of tangerines and passionfruit with some lingering lemon and cereal notes underneath.  In the mouth the sour shows flavours of mango, passionfruit, lime, citrus rind and pineapple for a tart-fruity punch.  This is a light-bodied and lightly sour beer that finishes crisp and clean, begging you to take another sip.
