Factory Brewing Is Vancouver’s New Contract Brewing Facility

Vancouver, BC – Vancouver’s first contract brewery, Factory Brewing, will open its doors later this spring.

The facility is the first of its kind on the West Coast: A purpose-built, collaborative contract brewery designed for the craft beer industry.

With a 50-hl Newlands Systems Inc. (NSI) brewhouse, over 60,000hl capacity, full packaging line and quality control lab, Factory’s designed to help the craft community expand its business operations.

“Unlike other contract breweries, Factory is completely collaborative,” says co-founder and CEO Andrew Harris.  “Our brewers work with our partner breweries every step of the way. We’re like their assistant brewers.”

Heading up Factory’s brewing operations will be Brewmaster Andres Palma, former Director of Brewing at Vancouver’s Molson brewery, and Head of Operations Rick Dellow, founder of R&B Brewing and former NSI project brewer.

Factory will launch with 11 brewery partners, including Doan Brewing, based in East Vancouver.

“Factory is a dream come true for us,” says Evan Doan, co-founder and brewmaster. “It eliminates the struggle of maintaining endless production of our core brands, and will provide us a little more financial freedom.”
