Taking place at the Fort Langley National Historic Site, The Fort Langley Beer + Food Festival takes a culinary twist on a classic craft beer event. On May 20th from 12-5PM BC’s top craft breweries will be joining some of the best restaurateurs to create a truly unique afternoon.

If you come on out to this inaugural event  you will find Fraser Valley favourites like Trading Post Brewery, Raven’s, Field House and Foamers’ Folly plus heading out from the Lower Mainland are Central City, Four Winds, Fuggles & Warlock, and most of Port Moody’s Brewer’s Row. You can expect 18 breweries to be pouring their latest libations on site.

On the food side of the equation, Redwoods Food Truck, Mangia e Scappa and JD Farms will be doing their thing while Trading Post, West Village Cafe and a growing list of different chef’s one up one another with their culinary prowess. Just to mix things up you will also find local wine and cider and entertainment on site if that is your fancy.

All in a charitable spirit, this Fraser Valley event funds a scholarship in conjunction with the KPU Brewing and Brewery Operations Diploma program which is dedicated to educating the brewers of tomorrow. The scholarship is named after the grandfather of BC craft beer, John Mitchell.

Tickets to attend the Fort Langley Beer & Food Festival will set you back $30 (plus taxes & fees). Each general admission pass will give you a tasting glass & three tasting tokens. Don’t worry, additional tokens will be available at the event along with some exceptional food options. And if you are coming out from Vancouver and want a stress free way to get there, plan to take the Vine & Hops charter bus with the infamous Jayden as your host.

Presenting this year’s festival is Smart Saavy & Associates in conjunction with Custom Line Homes. Whether you are looking to hire new employees or building your dream home, keep those that support craft beer in mind.
