November 15, 2016 – Join 50+ craft brewers and 5000+ craft brew enthusiasts at BC’s premiere craft beer and cider festival, the Okanagan Fest of Ale, April 7 & 8, 2017.

A favourite for patrons and participants alike for over 20 years, this “ must attend event” is one of the largest and longest running beer festivals in the Pacific Northwest. The 2-day festival features fabulous food, live entertainment and an opportunity to taste 150+ quality crafted brews, ciders and exclusive cask ales from 50+ exceptional craft breweries both inside and out in the fresh Okanagan air.

The host city of Penticton boasts a vibrant craft beer scene with a great selection of local breweries, welcoming taps rooms and top-notch craft beer themed tours. “We’ve partnered with local hoteliers to offer great deals on ticket and accommodation packages and encourage guests of the fest to check out what’s on tap around town if time permits” says Marketing Director, Simon St. Laurent. “Weekend passes are back for 2017 – priced at only $42 inclusive until December 24th they make an ideal Christmas gift for the craft beer connoisseur on your list”.

Operating as a non-profit society, and managed by a Volunteer Board of Directors, the Okanagan Fest of Ale Society hosts an annual Consumer Craft Beer and Cider Tasting that functions to support and promote the growing world of quality craft brewery products, promote local tourism and support charitable organizations within the Regional District of the Okanagan-Similakameen. Since its inception, $537,660 in net proceeds has been gifted back to qualifying registered charities.
