Old Yale Brewing Releases 100% Local BC Backyard Lager

Old Yale Brewing - Backyard LagerOld Yale’s New BC Backyard Lager Made With 100% BC Grown Ingredients

October 19, 2016 (Chilliwack, BC) – Based in Chilliwack, BC, Old Yale Brewing can be considered one of the pioneer companies in the Canadian Craft Beer Industry. After over 15-years of craft brewing success (including Canadian Brewing “Beer of Year” win for Sasquatch Stout in 2014), Old Yale Brewing continues to innovate new products that meet the growing consumer demand for great tasting craft beer.

New Product Launching Today, Old Yale Brewing announced the launch of a new beer. BC Backyard Lager will join their award-winning Four Season Lineup, and will be available year round.

The Four Season Lineup celebrates the outdoors with tongue-in-cheek “outdoor activity badges” and backgrounds borrowed from mother-nature. The line-up includes now five products in bomber bottles and six products in cans: Knotty Blonde Ale (bomber/can), West Coast IPA (bomber/can), Off Trail Pale Ale (bomber/can), Moon Dance Mango Wheat (bomber/can), Old Paddle Pilsner (bomber/can) and now, BC Backyard Lager (can).

The new beer’s label was designed by Subplot Design Inc., and features a topographical map of the brewery’s hometown (Chilliwack), along with an outdoor activity badge that pays tribute to the BC provincial flag.

Old Yale’s BC Backyard Lager is hand-crafted and 100% of the ingredients are grown right in their backyard – beautiful BC. Barley and rye blend with Chilliwack hops for a light, crisp finish. Try a Backyard Lager with a locally caught seafood feast!

BC Backyard Lager will be available for order in 355 mL cans and kegs, and will be sold in retail stores and at Old Yale Brewing later this month.
