Central City Brewing Releases Limited Edition Oak Aged Imperial Craft Cider

Central City Imperial CiderCentral City Brewing Welcomes the Fall Harvest Season with its Limited Edition Oak Aged Imperial Craft Cider

Surrey, BC, Canada – The cool, crisp autumn weather is upon us and what better way to toast the new fall harvest season than with Central City’s latest seasonal offering from its brewer’s reserve small batch series: Central City Limited Edition Imperial Cider.

Central City Brewers & Distillers’ Limited Edition Imperial Cider is a small batch craft apple cider. Made from 100 per cent Okanangan Valley apples and oak-aged giving it subtle bourbon tones. The resulting flavour is complex with notes of vanilla bringing balance to a rich, crisp apple character. The effervescent finish makes for a refreshing and flavourful cider experience.

“Craft cider is gaining huge popularity amongst craft beer enthusiasts in British Columbia and it’s no surprise given the province’s renowned Okanagan region and its apples,” says Gary Lohin, Brewmaster at Central City Brewers + Distillers. “In this limited edition small batch Imperial Cider, we only used apples from the Okanagan and aged the cider using oak to give it some dark bourbon tones, with hints of vanilla to balance the crisp apples. It’s the perfect drink for this cool, crisp autumn season.”

Central City also has other craft brews made with apples including its Hopping Mad Dry Hopped Apple Cider, as well as its Hopping Mad Cider Radler.

The Central City Limited Edition Imperial Cider (11% alc./vol) is available in 750 ml bottles and is sold at BC Liquor Stores throughout the province this September.
