Hathi Brewing ISA BottleHathi Brewing – India Session Ale Review

Hathi Brewing is one of the newest breweries in the Fraser Valley and are currently basing their operations out of the Old Abbey Ales premises in Abbotsford, BC. The guys at Hathi are looking to bring a bit of their heritage to their brewing through the use of classic Indian ingredients. The ISA pours a hazy golden colour with three fingers of off-white head.  The foam dissipates fairly quickly and leaves behind some lacing on the glass. Aromas of mango and pepper hit the nose initially, along with some cereal grains, coriander and citrus. Flavours of pepper and coriander dominate the palate, giving way to bready malt tones, lemon, and tropical fruit. There is a light bitterness that lingers, showcasing what is a light bodied and surprisingly complex beer for an ISA.

Alcohol – 4.7%

That is exciting to see that they have bottles now. I did not know they were bottling yet.

Agreed! I noticed they were bottling through Instagram and connected with Aman to snag a bottle. Really excited to see what they can develop. Got to try their Mango Heff when I was out there and that’s looking to be another winner.
