Mission Springs Brewing Co Lemon Ginger Radler CanMission Springs Brewing Company – Lemon Ginger Radler Review

Radlers are definitely increasing in prominence in the BC craft beer market.  The Mission Springs Brewing Company did something a little different with their radler offering by adding ginger for a bit of extra kick. The radler pours from the 355mL can a cloudy straw colour with two fingers of white head that dissipates quickly and leaves some lacing on the side of the glass. Aromas of ginger root, lemon, and grain emanate from the glass as the head settles. The flavour is of lemon, pithy bitterness, subtle ginger flavours, and some sweetness. A slight lingering bitterness remains in the mouth accompanying a dry finish. Light in the mouth, the radler is easy to drink, doesn’t offend, and would be a refreshing addition on a hot day.

Alcohol – 3.0%
Size – 355mL

I am a bigger fan of their cranberry ginger radler but this one is also quite nice. It’s a great summer sipper.

Over ice it’s definitely a tasty one but I agree that the cranberry radler is better. I think that added bitterness / tartness from the cranberry makes it a bit more refreshing.
