Central City Brewing Beer Radler CanCentral City Brewing – Red Racer Radler Review

Central City Brewing released their Red Racer Radler just in time for warmer spring weather to have you looking to quench your thirst. The Red Racer Radler is made by combining a light, blonde ale with grapefruit and lemon juices to create a refreshing and sessionable drink. The Radler pours from the 473mL can a cloudy orange blush with one finger of head that dissipates very quickly. The glass gives off prominent aromas of acidity and grapefruit, while more subtle aromas of grassy hops can be discovered lingering under the surface. In the mouth, the Radler presents a largely grapefruit flavour that includes a mild bitter finish, akin to the pith of the fruit. Very round in the mouth in spite of being based on a lighter style of beer and being low alcohol, this Radler is very drinkable and finishes with a touch of acidity with a faint hint of beer at the end. Certainly a very refreshing drink, the Red Racer Radler may become one of your patio favourites this summer.

Alcohol – 3.5%

Could definitely use a bit more beer but it’s certainly refreshing. Personally, I’m enjoying all the radlers and other sessionable warm-weather beer variants that are out now. Many, many options to choose from.
