Old Yale Innovates With Their New, Yeti White Stout

Old Yale Yeti White StoutOld Yale Brewing Blazing New Trails in Craft Beer Innovation

March 16, 2015 (Chilliwack, BC) With over 15 years of craft brewing success (including Canadian Brewing “Beer of Year” win for Sasquatch Stout in 2014), Chilliwack based craft beer company Old Yale Brewing continues to innovate new products to meet the growing consumer demand for great tasting, unique craft beer.

New Product Launching Today, Old Yale Brewing announced the launch of a new seasonal beer. Yeti White Stout will join their award-winning TALL TALE Series lineup. After their 2014 win of Best Beer in Canada at the Canadian Brewing Awards, it’s no surprise that Old Yale is pushing the limits on a new and exciting beer style.

Old Yale positions the Yeti as “Sasquatch’s frozen cousin” in the brew’s unique TALL TALE, which can be found on the label. The Yeti is a full-bodied white stout that will not only deceive your eyes, but also your taste buds with its dark chocolate, coffee & vanilla flavour and its creamy finish.

“After our Sasquatch Stout won Canada’s Best Beer for 2014, we knew we had to take our ability to brew great tasting stout to a whole new level. We can’t wait to see how the industry reacts to this unique, hard to brew, premium craft beer.” stated Zach VanLeeuwen, Operations Manager for Old Yale Brewing.

The Brewery’s TALL TALE Series celebrates the mythical characters that might find their way into spooky campfire tales, including Canada’s 2014 Best Beer, the Sasquatch Stout, the  unique Screaming Banshee Irish Cream Stout, Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier, and the most-recent Devilfish Single Malt & Single Hop IPA. Dark and haunting illustrations capture the essence of each “tall tale”, with stories about the mythical characters on each label.

The new beer’s label was designed by Subplot Design Inc., and features an illustration done by a local Vancouver artist that was created to bring the beer’s unique TALL TALE story to life. The Yeti White Stout will be available for order in bomber bottles and kegs, and will be sold in retail stores and at Old Yale Brewing later this month.
