Howe Sound Brewing Rail Ale Nut Brown Review Howe Sound Brewing Co. – Rail Ale Nut Brown Ale Review

The Rail Ale Nut Brown is a staple of the iconic Howe Sound Brewery’s lineup of craft beers. Sold in the brewery’s unique 1l, resealable bottles this Brown Ale pours into the glass appearing as a deep chestnut brown colour topped with a thin finger of quick to settle head. The thin layer of head leaves a slight lacing on the glass and gives off a nutty aroma of toasted malt, caramel and a hint of chocolate. On the tongue this beer has a smooth mouth-feel. The Rail Ale has flavours of nuts, chocolate, caramel, and a very delicate hop profile. The Rail ale is lightly carbonated, smooth and very easy to drink. This is a dark beer that doesn’t seem dark, just deep, smooth and extremely tasty.
