Category 12 Brewing Launches Simplicity Ale

Victoria, British Columbia Sept 10th, 2015 After only nine months in business and fresh off of a Gold Medal at the Canadian Brewing Awards, Category 12 Brewing is launching another new beer. Experimentation is at the heart of everything we do here at C12!

This weekend we are excited to revisit a successful R&D batch, our Spelt Flour Saison. After having fantastic reviews at the Thirsty Chef in Market Square, and of course in the Lab, this beer is officially being launched as Simplicity Ale.

Simplicity is a straw coloured, pearlescent ale at 5.2% ABV. It starts with a lightly fruity and floral nose and leads into a subtle body with a crisp, dry finish. Clean and subtly bittered with just a hint of Belgian sass.

This is a beer to remind us all to pump the brakes, relax and appreciate the delicate. Join us as at the brewery as we tap the first kegs of Simplicity Ale this Friday, Sep. 18th. This release will initially only be available in our tap room and at select draught accounts!
