Timewarp! Townsite Brewing Brings Back Their Wet Hopped Pale Ale

Powell River, BC – Sept 2015

Townsite Timewarp Wet Hop Pale AleHoly doodle it’s an early season this year- the blackberries started in early July and now the hops are ready!

Timewarp: n. 1. what you step into when you step off the ferry on Texada Island 2. a delicious wet hopped pale ale.

Wet hopped pale ales are all the rage these days and we know why…they’re delicious! Townsite’s version uses only local hops from various farms and backyards around Powell River. ‘We put a call out to local farmers to plant hops when we first opened 3 years ago’ says Townsite GM Chloe Smith ‘ apparently a few people heard us, we used 50 Kg of local hops for this years brew’.

Cédric says this years version ” smells like Jasmine tea” it will be unfiltered to accentuate those hop flavours.

We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again, this brew is super limited and it won’t be around for long. Enjoy Soon!
