Named after Ambleside Park, at the foot of Vancouver’s Lion’s Gate Bridge, The Ambleside Amber Ale is an iconic name for a summer beer perfect for the beaches of West Vancouver. From the bomber bottle this Amber Ale pours as an amber-chestnut colour topped with two fingers of very lightly lacing head. From the Ambleside comes a malt forward aroma with a light kick of fruit, citrus, sweetness and hops. A certain sessionability comes from the nose of this North Vancouver brewed beer. On the tongue the beer is rather light with a thin, but very sessionable body. The flavour is easy-going and a nice balance of mild sweetness, malted flavour and a light kick of northwest hops on the finish. The Ambleside is a session beer with a bit more to it than you may expect. It is easy going and could be your best friend for the beaches of Vancouver.
