Mission Spring Brewing - Fraser Valley IPA ReviewMission Springs Brewing Co. – Fraser Valley IPA Review

The Fraser Valley IPA is a tribute to the Mission Springs Brewing Company’s backyard. The bottle is painted with a picturesque scene of the Fraser Valley at the edge of the Coastal Mountains. This BC brewed IPA pours from the bottle as a golden-amber colour topped with two fingers of dense and heavily lacing head. The Fraser Valley IPA smells of citrus hops and a freshness along with a malt base that still squeaks through. Tasting the beer a relatively big body comes through with a lightly sweet citrus tone on the tongue. A West Coast hop-profile grows into a citrus infused hop bitterness that leads to a finish where the very back of the tongue hangs on to a bitter flavour. Citrus hops in a BC-styled IPA with defined citrus tones the Fraser Valley IPA is a great example of a BC IPA.
