Burnaby Tours & Charters bring Brewery Tours to Burnaby, Port Moody and New Westminster

Burnaby Tours - Burnaby Brewery ToursPutting Suburban Breweries On The Map With Craft Brewery Tours

Burnaby Tours & Charters, a boutique family-owned touring and transportation company, is looking to put Burnaby, Port Moody, and New Westminster on the same playing field as Vancouver when it comes to attracting craft beer enthusiasts.

Vancouver’s suburbs have a lot to offer with several craft breweries opening up in the last couple of years. Burnaby Tours & Charters is providing a packaged tour that showcases the best of these suburban breweries with their “Craft Brewery Tour” starting April 18, 2015.

Along with providing popular tours to Metro Vancouver, Whistler, and Squamish, Burnaby Tours & Charters decided this is the right time to offer a guided 4-hour tour of some local breweries. The goal of the tour is to educate people on the craft of beer making, enthrall their senses with a variety of tastes, flavours & aromas, and provide a safe means of transportation in between brewery visits.

The tour starts with a pick-up at one of several locations, then heads on a scenic drive along Hastings Street and Barnet Highway to the City of Port Moody. The first visits are to Yellow Dog and Moody Ales breweries, specialty brews and friendly people is what you will find here. Then on to Dageraad brewery in Burnaby, a small, quaint establishment that produces a fabulous mix of Belgian beer. The final stop is at the popular Steel & Oak brewery with its roomy tasting room and even larger brewing facility that is visited as part of the tour.

“Many locals and tourists alike haven’t had a chance to visit these “out of town” breweries. We noticed that people are missing out on the full spectrum of options available on the craft beer scene,” said Burnaby Tours & Charters President Rami Touffaha. “We want this tour to showcase a new destination, explore a set of breweries that may be difficult to reach otherwise, and take away the risk of drinking and driving by providing the transportation service.”

Burnaby Tours & Charters is offering complimentary pick-up and drop-off in their executive mini-coach to Burnaby and Coquitlam hotels, as well as Canada Place in Vancouver. There are also pick-up points at several skytrain stations in Burnaby. The company also provides group adventure tours and private charter services for special events like weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate gatherings, and sporting events.
