From Moody Ales comes the Hardy Brown Ale, a dark and malty beer from Port Moody British Columbia. From the 650ml bottle this beer pours a deep amber colour, with two fingers of head which settles very quickly without a trace. From this beer comes a malty and slightly metallic aroma with a touch of toffee on the nose. With a light colour and nose for the Brown Ale style, this beer’s flavour is crisp with big malted tones. a light touch of toffee, chocolate and and bread fill the body with a very slight metallic tone to it. This is a light brown ale but has a nice balance of flavour and makes for a tasty and sessionable (light) dark beer.
