Red Truck Beer Co. – Ridin’ Shotgun Belgian Blonde Ale Review

Red Truck Beer Co. - Ridin' Shotgun Belgian Blonde ReviewThe New Red Truck Brewery is rolling and their new beer is the Ridin’ Shotgun Belgian Blonde Ale. This seasonal offering comes in a 650ml bottle and weighs in at 6% alcohol. From the bottle this beer pours as a clear, light golden colour with two fingers of lacing head. An aroma of wheat and coriander comes though strong in the nose with notes of orange forecasting a delicious and light, yet flavourful beer. The flavour screams for the summer ahead. A nice wheat and citrus flavour with a kick of coriander has a medium-weight body to it which is both refreshing and delicious. Beers with this flavour profile can tend to be very light in body but the Ridin’ Shotgun is a great balance of summer flavour and bigger than typical body. With the warming days of spring approaching this is a perfect beer to enjoy awaiting the warmth of summer ahead.
