Phillips Brewing Co. – 78 Analogue Kolsch Review

Phillips Brewing Analogue Kolsch Review
The Analogue Kolsch is a traditional style beer from Victoria’s one and only Phillips Brewing Company. This mild flavoured beer pours a crisp, straw colour with a finger and a half of slowly settling head. With light lacing left on the glass  the Analogue smells of crisp malts light hops and a light citrus. The flavour is light, smooth and exactly what a traditional style Kolsch should be. This is a throwback to tradition but with the attention that we have come to expect out of Phillips. The malted flavour runs through the profile leading up to an off-dry finish and a light hop that leads out the end of the track. This beer is refreshing, crisp and goes down very easy. This may not be a big BC beer but if you give it a try there is room in your taste preferences for a great beer like this through this summer and summers to come!
