Dead Frog Brewery – Brazen Northwest Ale Review

Dead Frog Brewery has bolstered their 650ml bottle lineup in recent months and one ale that has been released is the Brazen Northwest Ale. Pouring a copper colour with a thick three fingered head that is slow to settle this beer smells of caramel, northwest hop and a touch of mango/passionfruit. The flavour is big with a strong cascadian-style hop, toasted malt, caramel and a floral middle section. The beer starts off strong and ends on a similarly bold note. The hop bitterness carries through to the end leaving a dry palate with a toasted malt and strong, bitter hop notes. If you like hops then give this a try as there are a lot of them and you may just have a new favorite beer from the Dead Frog Brewery.

A new great bomber from Dead Frog. I like where they are heading these days on the bomber front.
