Wolf Brewing Co. – Golden Honey Ale Review

The Wolf Brewing Company is the proud maker of this session ale that is golden colour with 2 fingers of quickly vanishing head. The Golden Honey Ale’s smell is malted, light and mildly sweetened with a honey scent. The taste is light refreshing and prospective of the summer that is just around the corner. For a honey ale this is very dry and lacking of a defined sweetness. This is not a bad thing though, with only a light sweetness the malt flavours can come through and shine their flavour along side the faint buzz of honey. The beer may not stand out from a crowd with its mellow flavours but it is smooth, easy drinking and a refreshing choice on a hot day.
