Parallel 49 Brewing Co. – Hay Fever Spring Saison Review

If you are looking for a six pack of something a little different from typical the Parallel 49 Brewing Co. has released something new. The Hay Fever is a Saison that has 2 fingers of head above a golden-straw coloured, quite cloudy beer. Through the head comes the smell of citrus, wheat and clove in a smooth and refreshing aroma. The taste is crisp and sharp. Orange notes come out early and lead to a citrus and wheaty finish. Be careful when pouring this beer as it has a much larger than normal amount of sediment at the bottom of each bottle. A careless pour could make for a thick and interesting taste experience. Leaving 2cm at the bottom of the bottle this is an extremely enjoyable beer that can be enjoyed over and over again.

Alcohol – 6.5%
Size – 6 x 341ml
Price – $12.25 for 6 bottles
