Russell Brewing Luck of the Irish Red Ale Review Russell Brewing Co. – Luck of the Irish Red Ale Review

The Russell Brewing company has released the Irish Red Ale with St. Patrick’s Day in mind. This beer pours with a finger and a bit of head topping a caramel coloured ale. The smell is of toasted malt and a caramel sweetness. This beer’s flavour has big, toasted malt paired with caramel and the slightest of hop bitterness. The finish is relatively neutral with a lingering sweetness making for an easy-drinking and flavourful brew. If you are looking for a beer to go with your four-leaf clover clad, St. Patrick’s Day apparel this could be a great choice.

Had this beer the week after St. Patrick’s Day, enjoyed it very much! Had a great Red Ale bite, but very smooth due to the low alcohol content. If you see one still around I suggest trying it!
