Mt Begbie Brewing Co. – Powerhouse Pale Ale Review

The Powerhouse Pale is an amber colour with a relatively thick head that wraps the top of the glass as it disperses. The smell is lightly sweetened with burnt notes. On the palate the burnt notes do not translate but there is a distinct sweetness and a touch of bitter that lingers. This beer is a bit too sweet for my palate and is a bit on the dark side of traditional but remains nice to drink in mild doses.

Alcohol – 4.8%
Size – 650ml bottle
Price – $4.60 per bottle (BCL)
