The Son of The Morning is no typical Golden Ale. The new design has upped the intensity just a little further from the previous look. When you pour this beer from the bomber bottle it has an appearance of a cloudy golden colour and is topped with two fingers of lacing head. Upon smelling the beer notes of candi-sugar, coriander, citrus, tropical fruit and a booziness. The sugar and liquor tones are on one side but the topical fruit notes add a lightness to the package. Tasting the beer a big body and smooth texture hit the tongue. Soon after a boozy tone hits before the citrus, fruit and light spice build into a complex package the cuts the booze nicely. The Son Of the morning is big and intense but the flavours work well together to cut the beer down and highlight the more subtle notes of a delicious beer.
