Twin Sails & Field House - As If Dry Hopped Sour Ale ReviewTwin Sails & Field House Brewing – As If Dry Hopped Sour Ale Review

Twin Sails Brewing has teamed up with Field House to collaborate on a Dry Hopped Sour Ale called As If. Made with Amarillo, Idaho 7 and Citra hops then aged in Chardonnay Barrels this is a truly unique beer. Pouring from a 750ml bottle the beer appears clouded with a yellow-gold colour while it erupts with a fist-full of head. The smell from this beer is a sour fruit bowl with notes of pineapple, mango and passion fruit coming through strong in a hoppy and quite tart manner. The flavour too has a distinct sour fruitiness that is quite enjoyable. The carbonation adds a crispness to the beer but is a bit over the top. After pouring the beer the bottle continued to bubble slowly over the top for some time.

Alcohol – 6.2%
Size – 650mL
