Hopwired Festival Offers a Unique Craft Beer and Coffee Tasting Experience

Vancouver, British Columbia – West Craft will present Hopwired Festival, taking place at Croatian Cultural Center on February 24 2018, which features unique craft beer and coffee roaster collaborations, all-inclusive filtered/drip coffee, all-inclusive espresso, live interviews and tastings, and a local coffee market award show that will leave attendees buzzing. West Craft is proud to launch a unique tasting event of this style for the first time to consumers.

Patrons at the event will be able to taste beer, as well as coffee that has been used in that beer alongside the roaster’s collaborative partner brewery. Expect up to 40 vendors including up to 15 unique collaborations between 15 attending craft breweries and 15 attending coffee roasters. Alongside the coffee there will be a rotating selection of espresso poured by ECM CANADA (Espresso Coffee Machines). ECM CANADA is Western Canada’s largest distributor of espresso machines and Italian food equipment.

Hopwired is focused on coffee and craft beer. We also offer food trucks, donuts, and water by ELEMENT H20 to keep patrons hydrated and give their palate a break between tastings so that they can be nourished and enjoy their day.

Expect live interviews and tastings with brewers and roasters hosted by Aaron from CASCADIAN.BEER. With over 15 years in the broadcast industry in three countries, Aaron’s podcast stands out from the others and recently ranked as high as #2 in Apple Podcasts for craft beer. His background includes interviewing Paul Hadfield of Spinnakers, Canada’s first brewpub in Victoria, to small up-and-coming breweries like Steel & Oak, Dageraad, and Propolis. Aaron recently interviewed industry leaders of a national scale like Charlie Papazian and other leaders in the Brewers Association.

Capping off the event is a special presentation from the VANCOUVER COFFEE SNOB. His unique style of writing has been called ‘bold’, ‘unique’ and ‘worse than my 5 year old’s best efforts”. He vehemently denies that his writing is bold and unique.
