Parallel 49 Brewing Amalgamation Collaboration IPA ReviewParallel 49 Brewing Co. – Amalgamation Collaboration Fresh Hopped Double IPA Review

Parallel 49 Brewing Company has brewed a fresh hopped IPA in collaboration with 7 other BC breweries. This beer pours from the 473ml can as a slightly hazy golden colour with nearly three fingers of lacing head. The aroma is juicy with notes of pineapple, orange and mango along side a distinct sweetness and lack of bitter character. Tasting the beer it too is fruity with tropical tones that take charge in a mid-bodied, high alcohol brew. The notes of mango, orange, passion fruit and pineapple make for a fruit salad effect with mellow sweetness and a very low bitterness. This is not your Imperial IPA of 2015; bitterness has been swapped for sweetness and intense fruit flavours.

Alcohol – 8.0%
Size – 473ml
