Riot Brewing Currantly Unavailable Blonde Ale Review Riot Brewing Co. – Currantly Unavailable Black Currant Blonde Ale Review

From Chemanius BC, Riot Brewing has released a Black Currant Blonde Ale called the Currantly Unavailable. Referring to the hours that it takes to run a brewery in the name this beer is sold in 650ml bottles. Pouring the brew it appears a reddish amber colour with one finger of quick to settle head. The aroma is mellow and light with a slight black currant, dark fruit  twist. This gives a bit of a tartness and fruity sweetness to the nose. Tasting the beer it is blonde ale first, and a pleasant Currant flavour second. The Black currant adds a light sweetness and dark fruit character that works well with the light and sessionable blonde ale base. Black currant can be an overpowering flavour but the Currantly Unavailable is an easy drinking, light infusion of flavour making for an enjoyable and easy drinking fruit-infused beer.

Alcohol – 4.5%
