Dageraad Brewing Antwerpen Belgian Tripel Review Dageraad Brewing Co. – Antwerpen Abbey Style Tripel Review

BC’s only Belgian-styled brewery, Dageraad, has released and Abbey style Tripel called the Antwerpen. This beer is 8.5% alcohol and was brewed with noble hops. Pouring the beer from the 750ml bottle the Antwerpen is a hazy straw colour and has more head than beer as it enters the glass. The heavy carbonation makes for a difficult pour while giving off a sharp aroma of Belgian yeast, wheat, mellow coriander and lemongrass along with a touch of lemon peel. Tasting the beer it is heavily carbonated with a bit of a boozy kick. The lemon and spice comes in up front and builds into a candi-sugar sweet finish. The sweetness and spice character lingers behind with a light boozy kick.

Alcohol – 8.5%
Size – 750mL
