Strathcona Beer Company Blackberry Berliner Weisse CanStrathcona Beer Co. – Blackberry Berliner Weisse Review

The third beer in Strathcona Beer Company’s summer fruit series is the Blackberry Berliner Weisse.  The beer pours from the 473mL can a clear, reddish-purple with one finger of pink head that leaves no lacing behind on the glass.  The aroma is prominently of earth, joined by berries, some grainy tones and a hint of grapes.  In the mouth the blackberry flavour is muted by notes of earth, nettles, green grapes, herbs and lemon.  This lightly tart Berliner Weisse is also fairly light in body and finishes with a lingering dry sourness that is rather refreshing.

Alcohol – 4.0%
Size – 473mL
