Spinnaker's Brewery Raspberry Lager Review Spinnaker’s Brewery – Raspberry Lager Review

Spinnaker’s Brewery has released a sessionable Raspberry Lager that comes in at 4.5% and 8 IBUS. This beer pours an amber colour with a pinkish hue from the 473ml can. With one finger of quickly settling head this beer gives off an aroma of raspberry jam and classic lager malt character. Despite having a jam-like character the sweetness isn’t over the top on the nose. Tasting the beer it is crisp, fresh and has a balance of sweet and tart character. There is an almost vanilla like character that comes at the same time. The body here is very light and the raspberry character settles in and dissipates leaving a rather neutral finishing note. As far as raspberry beers go this is one of the more refreshing and lowest sweetness of anything available.

Alcohol – 4.5%
IBU – 8
Size – 473ml can
