Another in Strathcona Beer Company’s summer lineup is the Cherry High wild cherry ale with Brettanomyces.  This wild ale pours from the 473mL can a cloudy red colour with three fingers of light pink head that leaves no lacing behind.  Cherry High offers aromas of cherries and a prominent funk, along with yeast, hay, and berry notes.  Cherry flavours dominate along with a strong pithy note, but these are balanced with Brettanomyces funk along with raspberry and lemon tones.  The body is quite light with a nice dry finish, and sessionable at 4.2% alcohol.

Alcohol – 4.2%
Size – 473mL
