Riot Brewing Life Partners Pale Ale ReviewRiot Brewing Co. – Life Partners Pale Ale Review

From Vancouver Island, in the small town of Chemainus, BC Riot Brewing has been making a ruckus with their new line of craft beer. One of the core beers in their canned lineup is the Life Partners Pale Ale. This beer comes in boxed 6-packs of 355ml cans and has a 90s throwback illustrative style that is bold and difficult to miss on shelf. Pouring this beer it is lightly cloudy and amber in colour. Two fingers of lacing head top the beer and give off a biscuit-malt character, light hop tones and a slightly buttery aroma. The flavour too has a big biscuit character and a maltiness that hints at a significant amount of Munich malt in the brew. Mild bitterness finishes off the flavour in a somewhat subdued way. This is not your big northwest-style Pale Ale but rather a more drinkable, mellow variety.
