This beer takes a Mexican twist by using ancho chilies, cocoa nibs cinnamon and cumin to give a mole-like flavour infusion to the beer. Pouring from the bomber bottle this beer has a light amber-brown colour and is topped with a finger and a half of lightly lacing head. The aroma is malty and unique with an aroma that really does resemble traditional mole. The chocolate, chili and spice work together and while no one ingredient stands out together they are distinctive. Tasting the beer the chocolate and chili come into play up front and lead into the cumin and cinnamon spice. The overall flavour is a bit weird and somewhat resembles taco-spice but still somehow works. Perhaps a bit heavy on the cumin the goal of this beer was well-achieved. The Mexican mole flavour comes through in spades and makes for a unique, Mexican flavour twisted beer.
