Phillips Brewing Benefit Brew Saints Imperial Pilsner Review Phillips Brewing Co. – Benefit Brew Saints Rescue Imperial Pilsner Review

Phillips Brewing Company has brought back their Benefit Brew and This year it is the Saints Rescue Imperial Pilsner. Benefiting the S.A.I.N.T.S Rescue Foundation this beer comes in 650ml bottles and is a high 7.0% alcohol. In the glass this beer appears golden-straw like in colour and has two fingers of lacing head. The smell is of light spruce, lemon and peel with a hop-forward nose. Similarly the flavour has a hoppiness to it that evokes a spruce-infusion like flavour. That along with a lemon peel like bitter-tart character builds with the touch of booziness that presents itself. This may not be the smoothest imperial pilsner on the market but it does offer something quite unique with its hop character and fresh flavour profile.

Alcohol – 7.0%
Size – 650ml
