Townsite Brewing Lil Red 3.0 Brett Belgian Ale Review Townsite Brewing Inc. – Lil Red 3.0 Belgian Ale Review

Brewed with Brett Yeast the Lil Red 3.0 is a belgian ale that comes in at 6.0% alcohol. From the bomber bottle this beer is amber in colour and erupts with three-plus fingers of head. Given the carbonation level it is possible that there is some slight refermentation happening in the bottle. The flavour is lightly sour with a belgian-yeast character and toffee-caramel sweetness to it. The Brett adds an earthy-funk to the mix making for a rather unique flavour combination. This is a Belgian Triple meets Farmhouse type beer that is tough to describe. It is tasty but also polarizing. Brett fans rejoice but those looking for a traditional Belgian Beer may find this one a bit odd.

Alcohol – 6.0%
