Field House Brewing Co. – One Year Wild Saison Review
Barely one year ago Field House Brewing Company in Abbotsford, BC opened their doors and were so popular that they ran out of beer in a couple of days. Since then the brewery has created numerous unique and delicious beers and won awards and recognition for their efforts. This beer marks their one year anniversary and is a celebration of all they have accomplished. The One Year Wild Saison pours from the 750mL champagne bottle a slightly hazy golden colour with four fingers of dense, lasting head that leaves significant lacing behind. The aroma is of strong, sweet funk with a mild sharpness. Some grainy malt and herbal spicy notes manifest alongside notes of coriander, pepper, green apple and lemon. In the mouth the beer offers bready malt notes with grassy and herbaceous tones. These flavours are joined by green apple, some floral flavours, and a slight pithy note, with some hints of wood and unripe fruit showing up at the end. The One Year Wild Saison is light and bright in the mouth and is a fitting celebration for this brewery’s first year.

That sounds quite interesting.
Not sure if they have any left at the brewery but there were plenty when I picked up mine. Get your hands on one if you can.
I will have to try and make it out to the valley soon.
With this one, plus their now coolship collaboration series coming out it’s definitely worth your while to get out there for a visit.
Oh for sure it is.
