Tree Brewing Backcountry Nut Brown Ale Tree Brewing Co. – Backcountry Nut Brown Ale Review

In the Tree Brewing Seasons Pass mix pack comes the Backcountry Nut Brown Ale. This can of beer pours into the glass a deep brown colour with a finger of off-white, lightly lacing head. The aroma is of toasted malt, light chocolate and a hint of toffee. Tasting the beer, it too has a lightly sweet, caramel-toffee flavour that is joined by a creamy chocolate note and a subtle hint of coffee. The mid-body of this beer adds to the flavour with a light creaminess that accentuates the chocolate notes. The finish has a light hop-bitterness that joins the chocolate flavour for a mildly sweet and bitter end. This is an enjoyable and easy drinking yet also flavourful brown ale.
