Steamworks Brewing Yak Attack BottleSteamworks Brewing Company – Yak Attack Fresh Hop Pale Ale Review

This fresh hop season, Steamworks brewer Julia Hanlon traveled to the Yakima Valley hop region in Washington State to bring back some hops for a special brew: the Yak Attack Fresh Hop Pale Ale.  The beer pours from the bomber bottle a clear golden colour with two fingers of white head that leaves some lacing on the glass.  Fruity aromas of grapefruit and peach, mingle with earthy hop tones and notes of cereal grains.  In the mouth Yak Attack presents flavours of lemon, citrus pith and pine resin accompanied by cereal and bready tones.  This pale ale has a lighter body and is rather smooth and easy to drink while remaining quite balanced.

Alcohol – 5.2%
