September 26th, 2016 – Pumpkin season is in full swing, and this year we’ve upped the ante to 3 pumpkin brews! Crooked Tooth Pumpkin Ale and Crookeder Tooth Barrel Aged Imperial Pumpkin Ale are both rolling back onto beer shelves. But along for the ride is Toothless Pumpkin Sour Ale–a brand new seasonal that’s deftly soured with lactobacillus and balances bold spice with puckered brightness. You can harvest Toothless Pumpkin Sour Ale from select private AND BC government liquor stores, with original Crooded Tooth and Crookeder Tooth being restricted to private, craft-focused stores only.
Green Reaper Fresh Hop IPA is also re-appearing at your favourite local craft beer store! The 2016 vintage is crafted with full-cone Chinook, Cascade and Centennial hops which were delivered fresh to the brewery. Grab yours from your favourite private liquor store or BC Liquor Store before it disappears for another year.
Here’s a little breakdown of each brew:
TOOTHLESS PUMPKIN SOUR ALE
4.7% – 650mL
Toothless Pumpkin Ale was picked from the sour side of the patch. Fresh pumpkin is gently spiced and carefully inoculated with Lactobacillus, balancing spiced malt sweetness with a bright sour bite that finishes puckeringly dry. It’s a pumpkin beer with another gear for this special time of year.

Electric Unicorn White IPA
CROOKED TOOTH PUMPKIN ALE
5% – 650mL
This Phillips seasonal classic combines fresh pumpkin, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg with a full-bodied ale. It’s a witches brew packed full of fall harvest flavour that, like many ghostly spirits of the season, has a tendency to disappear quickly.
Crooked Tooth Pumpkin Ale is available for a very limited time at private cold beer & wine stores.
Raspberry Wheat Ale
CROOKEDER TOOTH BARREL-AGED PUMPKIN ALE
7.3% – 650mL
Our crooked smiles are extra wide as this special Pumpkin seasonal uses a barrel-aging trick to put the finishing touches on a pumpkin treat! Crookeder Tooth is brewed full-bodied with loads of fresh pumpkin and then carefully aged in selected freshly-emptied whiskey barrels. The result is a slightly sweet, gently spiced brew that blends fresh pumpkin flavours with soft velvet vanilla.
Crookeder Tooth Barrel-Aged Pumpkin Ale is exclusively available at craft-focused private liquor stores for a limited time only.
Raspberry Wheat Ale
GREEN REAPER FRESH HOP IPA
6.5% – 650mL
Green Reaper is a fresh-hop apparition sent to collect your taste buds and guide them to the aftertaste. The hops aren’t dried; they are delivered fresh to the brewhouse within 24 hours maximizing hoppy flavour. Full-cone Chinook, Cascade and Centennial hops give this year’s Reaper a delicious hop kick. But harvest time is short, so grab yours before it goes out of season and disappears for another year.
