Fieldhouse Brewing Sour Wheat Gose BottleFieldhouse Brewing – Sour Wheat Gose Review

At long last, Fieldhouse Brewing in Abbotsford, BC has bottled their Sour Wheat Gose to share with people beyond the brewery and the few select pubs where it was available.  The beer pours a cloudy orange with one finger of off white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing.  Aromas of grapefruit, elderflower and wheat are initially present, followed up with peach and some slight citrus and coriander notes, as well as a hint of salinity.  The flavour is of wheat, coriander, lemon, grapefruit pith, and some light floral notes.  In the mouth the beer is nicely creamy, wheaty and tart with a balanced, salty finish.
