Persephone Brewing Noble Wheat Beer Review Persephone Brewing Co. – Noble Wheat Beer Review

Persephone Brewing has taken a royal approach to their Summer release, Noble Wheat Beer. Using only Noble variety hops this beer is a summer session release from Gibsons BC. It is also worth noting that this beer is reportedly best enjoyed while listening to, “‘Let me take you to the beach’ of Frank Zappa’s ‘Studio Tan'”. From the bomber bottle this beer is light golden straw in colour and has nearly three fingers of dense and lacing head. The aroma is ligtht and crisp with a wheat character and subtle banana-clove ester. Tasting the beer it is light on the tongue and very easy drinking. The flavour is more complicated than you may expect though with the banana tones coming through along with a light citrus tone and clove spice. This is no hefeweizen but some of the german style characteristics come through similarly. The finish has a touch of sweetness to it with a lingering banana character and little hop bitterness.

Alcohol – 4.8%
Size – 650ml Bottles
