Tree Brewing Kim-Ach-Touch Review Tree Brewing Co. – Kim-Ach-Touch Ale Review

The Kim-Ach-Touch is a blend of Tree Brewing’s Doppel Bock and Brown Ale. The name means “Brown Bear” in the tongue of Okanagan Natives and this beer is a tribute to them. From the bomber bottle this beer pours a colour of brown with a reddish tint to it. A single finger of dense and lacing head tops the beer and gives off an aroma of caramel, toasted malt and hints of chocolate. The body is quite carbonated which gives a light sharpness at the front. The flavour is malty and smooth though with light toasted sweetness, subtle chocolate flavours and toffee adding to the mix. The hops build quickly as well leaving the palate with a bitter finish that lingers along side the remnants of any chocolate tones that came into the mix. The Kim-Ach-Touch is a blend of beer styles but hits the mark as a balanced, flavourful and enjoyable Okanagan craft brew.
