Bridge Brewing Lonsdale Lager CanBridge Brewing Co. – Lonsdale Lager Review

After the success of their Wunderbar Kolsch, Bridge Brewing Co has followed up with another lighter beer option in the Lonsdale Lager.  The beer pours a hazy straw colour with one finger of white head.  The foam dissipates quickly leaving some trace lacing on the glass.  Aromas of bread and crusty malts are present, along with prominent grassy hop notes and some woody, almost piney tones.  Flavours of cereal grains and grassy hops initially dominate the palate, followed by hints of lemon, and finishes slightly fruity with a lingering mild bitterness.  The texture is surprisingly smooth and offers a bit of extra body from a fairly light style.

Alcohol – 5.2%
IBU – 17
Hops – Mt Hood, Hallertau, Mittelfruh
Malts – Pilsner, Vienna, Oat
Size – 355mL
